No staff at the counter. Served with contempt. I can understand working on a dead night in a minimum wage job (still $17 an hour, to do nothing), and I can understand they'd probably prefer to be doing something else. They definitely made it feel like that, and that's fine, just don't make me walk around the store for 5 minutes and then knock on the counter before you decide to saunter over from two metres away, pretend you didn't see me, don't apologise, and then serve me like a gawping pleb.
